Case filed against actor Arya and actress Sangeetha

Actor Arya, who is participating in a TV show Enga Veetu Mapillai in a private television, says he is going to marry one of the 16 women participating in the show. Actress Sangeetha has hosted the show and some actors and some actresses are visited the show with Arya. In this case, a lady Janaki Ammal from Madurai has filed a suit at the High Court. 

In the petition, she filed, "the private home TV show is to disturb the serious problems of women. Actress Sangeetha who has hosted the show frequently violating the sexual equality according to the constitution. They show women just as visuals. If you allow this program to continue, there will be a number of such events in the air. Hence the violence against women should be banned and Arya, the channel's top official, and Sangeetha, who participated in the program, should be under the criminal action." The judges have asked the Central of the Cine Censor Board and Broadcasting Secretary to submit information issue about this petition. Furthermore, the inquiry has been postponed to April 18.
