Popular cosplayers Medha Srivastava and Suriya Banu host Comic Con India's first ever special Cosplay Workshop ahead of Chennai Comic Con 2024

Comic Con India hosted an electrifying Cosplay Workshop at Watson’s in T. Nagar in Chennai with cosplay experts – Medha Shrivastava and Suriya Banu. The event was conducted in anticipation for the first edition of Chennai Comic Con in the city, witnessed a full house as the workshop delivered an immersive experience, insights and a whole lot of fun like never before.

 

Medha Srivastava is the reigning Indian Champion of Cosplay as well as a renowned illustrator and cosplayer from Mumbai known for her captivating visual artworks and innovative cosplays; teamed up with Chennai’s very own seasoned pro-cosplayer Suriya Banu. With fervour for bringing fictional characters to life across diverse fandoms, she has been cosplaying for over 10 years and keeping the Chennai anime community evergreen. 

 

All fun and cosplay, fans gathered to cut, stitch, and create exciting cosplays in preparation of this Con. The event witnessed an engaging session with some handmade cosplay items while also discussing the basics of cosplaying.
