The Vaish Comfest 2017-18  “RADIANCE” – the Annual Commerce Extravaganza was organised by Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt (SDNB) Vaishnav College for Women, Chromepet at their premises. Mr. C S. Ganapathy G.M, Chairman, Institute of Company Secretaries of India Southern India Regional Council, Chennai inaugurated the fest.

“HR TIDINGS”, a  Newsletter of M.A (H.R.M) department was released as a part of the inauguration. Students from 30 colleges  across the city participated in  various intercollegiate competitions like Adzap, Channel Surfing, Business Connexions, Poster Designing, 60 Secs to Fame, Wealth out of Waste, Dumb Charades etc.

Dr. V. Varalakshmi, Principal, SDNB Vaishnav College said. “The Vaish Comfest gives students an opportunity and platform to exhibit their skills and talent under one roof. Students from different colleges enthusiastically participate in diverse activities and compete with each other year on year. This Commerce fest is an active event that takes place to motivate the students and their overall performance.”

Dr. Kamala Balakrishnan, Principal, Annai Violet College of Arts and Science, delivered the valedictory address and distributed the prizes. Mrs. Chithra Anantharaman, Deputy Director, Institute of Company Secretaries of India Southern India Regional Council was present.
