Highlights from the Winter Range:
Womenswear
Making an effortless statement is the agenda for the season. Forget 9to5, when it comes to fashion the emphasis is on 9to9. Elegant shirts and topwear paired with fitted trousers and leggings transition from boardroom to after-hours with no fuss while formal separates come with a coy hint of ruffle and floral prints. Cocktail and partywear takes the street-savvy route to metallics. From sparkling dresses to velvet separates, a hint of shine is mandatory for night outs. The palette of classic fall colours includes black, copper, bronze, red, metallic blue and military green, as well as denim whose versatility is showcased in new silhouettes. Feeling the chill? Cover up with soft knits, camo-print bombers and leather jackets.
Indianwear
Taking a cue from the seasonal hues, the Indianwear collection is awash with the rich hues of red, indigo, mustard and spicy hues. Fusion is a key inspiration, as prints inspired by kalamkari art and traditional crafts adorn layered kurtas, midi and maxi dresses, shrugs and cover-ups. On-trend asymmetrical dresses are coordinated with contrasting jackets and scarves emphasise on the marriage of comfort with style. The key to nailing the new-age Indian look is to combine the best of both worlds – a long-standing heritage of traditional crafts and embroideries with contemporary tailoring and design aesthetics.
Menswear
This season, menswear is a style in contrast and versatility. Head-to-toe denim rules the roost, as the classic jeans-and-jacket ensemble is updated with distressed details and patches. Athleisure offers the luxury of wearing well-crafted joggers and sneakers not only to the gym but also outdoors. Along with classic monochrome, make room for shirts and trousers in the Scottish-inspired tartan and plaid. And finally, what is winter without jackets? Biker-cool leather and army-inspired jackets, plus dapper knits to throw over workwear, are this season’s wardrobe essentials. Seeking some Indian inspiration? Elevate the classic shirt-and-trousers combo with a Bandhgala vest for timeless poise.
Kidswear
Girls (2-8): With a vibrant line of dresses and separates for girls, Max Fashion gives the season’s chicest trends a playful spin. From glittery dresses and ruffled skirts for special occasions to slogan tees and plaid tunics for easy chic day wear, girls can flaunt their own take on of-the-moment looks with élan. Leather jackets and bombers help to keep the dreaded winter chill at bay.
Boys (2-8): Funky patters, prints and badges, camo-print jackets and look-at-me accessories – growing boys are sure to have their dandy moment this season. Bright prints and patterns offset winter’s muted colour schemes, dominated by winter-ready bombers and jackets in leather. Growing up was never this stylish!
