Press Release – Vaibhav’s Sixer gets censored with U
Few films have the privilege of possessing all traits that easily makes it an affordable watch for ‘U’niversal audiences. Undoubtedly, one among them is the CBFC rating, which actually affirms this stature and now Vaibhav’s Sixer is lucky enough to clasp it hands down. The CBFC members had recently viewed the film and passed ‘U’ certificate.
Much delighted producer Dinesh Kannan says, “Maybe, this is not a pure surprise as we all knew it by the time we locked ‘Sixer’ script . Our main intention was to entertain the family audiences and director Chachi was keen on making sure that it achieves the same output as planned, which was getting ‘U’. In literal sense, Vaibhav too has become the center of attraction for family audiences as his movies are now creating decent expectations as feel-good entertainers. When it comes to humour, he is always best in not just rendering witty lines, but appropriately looking suitable for slapstick humour too. These traits have helped ‘Sixer’ get a good shape through his screen presence. As an audience, K. Sridhar (other producer) and I are so happy and satisfied with the way, Sixer has turned up. We are pretty sure that it will have a similar reception with the Universal audiences.”
Written and directed by Chachi, the film is produced by Dinesh Kannan and K. Sridhar for Wallmate Entertainment in association with R. Ravindran for Trident Arts. Pallak Lalwani is playing the female lead role in this movie, which has Satish, Raamar, Radharavi, Ilavarasu and Sriranjani in important roles.
Ghibran is composing music and PG Muthaiah is handling cinematography for this film with Jomin as editor and Pasar NK Rahul as art director. Sam and Ram Kumar are choreographing stunts and lyrics are written by GKB, Logan and Anu.
