Themed on 'Sexual Health: For Quality Life', a joint congress of the Asia-Oceania Federation for Sexology (AOFS), and the Council of Sex Education and Parenthood International (CSEPI) (34th National Conference Sexology and 15th conference of AOFS.) will be held at Chennai on 17th, 18th and 19th August 2018 at Hotel Hyatt Regency 365, Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai,  

Acknowledged by the WHO (2002) as an essential factor to sexual health, pleasure necessitates sexual rights, which in turn embrace basic human rights. This factor, and not just infertility or illness, may require the attention of government policies and public health approaches. 

The Congress convenes to exchange up-to-date academic knowledge and diverse practices on Sexology and Sexual Medicine. Renowned experts for the programme include Beverly Whipple (who has done considerable research on the G-Spot, for women's orgasm), Nam Cheol Park, Margaret Redelman, Esther Corona, Tommi Paalanen, and Prakash Kothari amongst others.

Academic discussions include the Hidden Chemistry of Kissing, Temple Erotica (beyond the temples of Khajuraho), 'Why We Have Sex', Women's Orgasm, and Oncosexology, amongst others. Sociological discussions and debates on crucial topics like Marital Rape, Child Sex Abuse, Transgender Health, Potency Certification, and the Myth of Immorality will also be a part of the programme. The Cultural aspects of the programme include a musical play on 'Romance', a dance Choreography on 'Sexuality', and a stage enactment on 'Domestic Violence Against Husbands'.
